Frederic “Rick” Weldon, age 51 of rural Danville, died Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

In honor of Rick’s wishes, no funeral services are planned. In Rick’s memory memorials, donations are being specified for the University of Iowa Children’s Miracle Network, through the University of Iowa Foundation. Rick’s family includes his wife, Diane, daughters, Kay and her husband, Eric Walker of Dublin, OH; and Crystal Weldon of Burlington; five grandchildren, Dominique, Kyra, Aaliyah, Ella, and Brayden.
