Joseph Kral, 59, Dies in Iowa City

LONE TREE – Joseph Kral, 59, died at 6:30 o'clock Monday night at the Iowa City Hospital after a short illness.

He was born in Johnson county August 2, 1881, the son of John and Mary Kral.

His first wife preceded him in death a number of years ago, and his second wife, the former Hattie Dana of Iowa City, died on December 6, 1940

Surviving are three sons: Harold and Lawrence of Lone Tree and Dana, at home: two brothers, John of Lone Tree and Frank of Conesville; one sister, Mrs Mary Fountain of Pleasant Valley, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Reformed church in Lone Tree. The Rev. E A Voss will be in charge, and burial will be in the Lone Tree cemetery.
