Death Takes Nonogenarian (sic)

Andrew Fountain, aged 90, April 22, 1920, passed away at his country home in East Lucas, Saturday night at 9.

Surviving are his six sons and four daughters – George W, Sharon; John L, East Lucas; Charles M., East Lucas; Mose, East Lucas; Fred A., of Phillip, S. Dak.; and Thomas E of West Liberty; and mesdames Ella (L S) Pinney, East Lucas; Annie (G A) Singleton, Ponca City, OK; Jennie (R A) Clearman, Montana; and Edna (John) Miller, Cedar Rapids.

Mr Fountain was a leading Methodist Pioneer, and had lived here about 75 years. He was a mere lad when he arrived from his birth state, Tennessee.

He was a man of excellent habits and fine character and will be mourned by a large circle of warm friends.
