Norman J. “Mick” Kuenster, 72, of 711 East Fairchild Street died Monday, July 21, 2003
at his home following a short illness.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 11 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Rudy Berndt officiating. Burial will be at a later date at
St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A luncheon in the church hall will follow services. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.

Mick was born August 28, 1930, in Cassville, Wisconsin, the son of Karl and Lillian
Kirschbaum Kuenster. He was united in marriage to Anna Mae “Maizie” Krall on March 6, 1951 at St. Thomas More Church in Iowa City.

He owned and operated Mick’s Inc., an underground construction company, retiring in 1994. Mick loved his backhoe. He had served in the US Army.

Mick is survived by his wife, Anna Mae “Maizie” of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lorraine and Darrell.
