Terri Lynne Trabert of Tiffin passed away Friday,December 17,2010 at home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Terri Trabert Memorial Fund.

Terri was born September 21, 1964 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the daughter of Sharon and Jack Adams. She graduated from Sharon Doran Cosmetology Academy in 1983. She worked as an equipment supplies buyer for Hawkeye Foodservice since 1997. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include husband Rick; daughters Brandi (Kenny) Carmer of Marion, Arissa Embree of Tiffin,stepdaughter,Dr.Britton Trabert of Washington DC and stepson, Erik Trabert of Des Moines; mother Sharon and stepfather Larry Sorensen of North Liberty; brothers Garry Adams of Parnell and Steve Adams of Iowa City; grandmother Dorothy Martin of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren, one nephew, and three nieces; and her beloved felines Cozmo and Buckwheat.

Terri was preceded by daughter Ashley Rose, son Derek William and father Jack Adams.
Terri, or “T” to friends who knew her best, enjoyed fishing, hiking and all outdoor activities. She was an avid reader who spent many of her last hours engrossed in a Kindle reader, an early Christmas gift from Rick. She mostly, however, enjoyed being with family and friends who were always inspired by her cheerful personality and warm smile, even in the face of adversity. Her passing has produced a void for all who knew her.
