Thomas M. Recker, 59 of Iowa City died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at UIHC following a brief illness.

Tom was born on April 1, 1952 in Buffalo Center, Iowa, the son of Wilbur and Fern Jordahl Recker. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson, IA and the University of Iowa. He had been employed at Sears in Iowa City for many years.
Survivors include his brother Dennis (Kay Fetrow) Recker of Madison, MS; three nieces and one nephew; six great nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James and infant Mary Jayne.
