Michael J. Andreas, 56, of North Liberty died Friday, September 24, 2010 from injuries sustained in a automobile accident.

Mike was born August 15, 1954 in San Diego, CA, the son of Paul and Betty Sharp Andreas. He was raised in Ohio and Texas. On September 20, 1985 he married Lynn Manternach in Iowa City.

Mike was employed for many years as a helicopter mechanic at UIHC AirCare. He was a talented mechanic, working on motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson. Mike enjoyed the music of Bob Dylan and the Beatles.

His daughter was the love of his life.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Elisha of North Liberty; his parents Paul and Betty Andreas of New Braunfels, TX; three sisters, Connie Spearman of New Braunfels, TX, Carrie (Michael) Reynolds of Franklin, TN and Christine (Ronnie) Delavan of New Braunfels, TX; nieces and nephews; former spouse, Lynn and his grand dog Samson.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Henry and maternal and paternal grandparents.
