Genevieve C. Dunham, 83 formerly of Iowa City, died Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas of complications from a stroke.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville.

Mrs. Dunham was born February 3, 1919, in Iowa City to Martin
and Mary Hartzler. She lived most of her life in Iowa City and Rock
Island, the last 10 years she lived in Sacramento and Las Vegas. She
worked in the food and beverage industry most of her life retiring in
1982. She devoted all of her attention for the next 8 years in taking
care of her husband Chester W. Dunham, until his death in 1990.

Her family includes her daughter, Sharon Searcy of Las Vegas, Nevada; her son, Michael Conklin
of Bayonne, NJ; her brother, Martin Dean Hartzler of Sacramento, CA.; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Her husband, three brothers, Vernon, Melvin and Joseph Hartzler and a grandson Billy Searcy, preceded her in death.
