William "Bill" Harry Naab age 59 of Mount Pleasant died on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 with family members by his side at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City
following a year long battle with cancer. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2003 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in
Mount Pleasant, a luncheon will follow in Manning Hall. Memorials may be given to the William Naab memorial fund and sent to his family at 2045 Hoover Ave, Mount Pleasant, Iowa 52641. The Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City are assisting Bill's family with arrangements.

Bill was born on February 19, 1944 in Alden, New York the son of James and Margaret Campion Naab. He attended and graduated from Alden Schools. As a young boy he worked part time for a local press shop, this started his passion for the printing industry in which he worked all of his professional life. He married Jane Garski on June 2, 1978 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1996 Bill and his family moved to Mount Pleasant from Wausau, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant and the Graphic Communication International Union, Local 518M. Bill was an avid Mark Martin NASCAR fan, he loved camping, his dog, cutting fire wood and his riding mower. Above all else he was a loving husband and devoted father to
his family.

Bill's family includes his wife Jane of Mount Pleasant, two sons Jesse Naab of Wausau, WI. and Nathan Naab of Mount Pleasant, two daughters Amanda and Lisa Naab of Mount Pleasant, one brother John and wife Ruth Naab of Alden, N.Y., two nephews Kevin and Chris along with one niece Faith Young.
