Joseph Eisenhofer, 69

Services for Joseph J. Eisenhofer, 69, of 406 Woodridge Ave. were at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mr. Eisenhofer died Friday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness. Memorial donations may be made to the Regina Foundation.

Mr. Eisenhofer was born March 28, 1919, in Iowa City, son of Joseph and Helen Loney Eisenhofer. He married Colletta Hoye Sept. 3, 1946, in St. Patrick's Church. He was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in 1937 and attended the University of Iowa. He worked at the U.S. Postal Service in Iowa City for more than 33 years. He was a captain in the U.S. Air Force in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Joseph M. of Iowa City; three daughters, Joanne (Mrs. Rex) Baumback of Placerville, Calif.; Catherine (Mrs. Stephen) White of Iowa City, and Christine (Mrs. William) Donahue of Iowa City; two sisters, Patricia (Mrs. Robert) Crain of Tucson, Ariz., and Jean (Mrs. William) Large of Phoenix, Ariz., and seven grandchildren. His parents and a sister died eariler.
