Mrs. Mary Paintin, Coralville, Buried; Native of England

Iowa City, IA., July 15 -- Private funeral services were held this afternoon in the Coralville church for Mrs. Mary Paintin, aged 73 years, whose death occurred Wednesday after a long illness in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Robinson in Coralville. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Paintin was born near Effie, England, April 22, 1854, and came to Coralville 48 years ago. She had since made her home there. Her husband, James Paintin, preceded her in death 11 years ago.

Surviving are three sons, John of Iowa city; Fred of Coralville and Paul of Sheridan, Wyo., and four daughters, Mrs. Arch Hemphill and Mrs. Robinson of Coralville; Mrs. Frank Bowman of Tiffin and Mrs. Mil Alt of Minneapolis.
