Florence Conklin Robertson Morrow, 98, of 314 Benton Street Iowa City, Iowa died Tuesday, March 25, 2003

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30p.m at Lensing Funeral and Cremation- 605 Kirkwood Ave. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Florence was born July 16, 1904 the daughter of John Robert and Lillian (Beranek) Conklin in Iowa City, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Iowa City High School in 1921. She later attended Irish Business College and graduated in 1923. She worked in the University of Iowa Hospital Business office for eleven years. Later she owned and operated Riverside Grocery Store. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Edwin Morrow and his wife Elaine of Des Moines, seven grandchildren: Dallas Robertson and his wife Carole of Iowa City, David Robertson and his wife Cindy of Iowa City, Diana Robertson of West Liberty, Douglas Robertson and his wife Karen of Iowa City, Crissa Morrow Almughrabi of Bartlett, Illinois, Amy Sharar and her husband Mark of Sumner, Iowa and Guy Morrow of Mountain View, California. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, her husband, George Morrow, and one son Donald Robertson.
