Alois Albert Kessler, 92, of Tipton died Tuesday at the Wilton Nursing Home.
Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St Mary's Catholic Church in Tipton, with burial in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Nolan Settlement. The Rev. Donald I. Waldschmidt will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Fry Funeral Home in Tipton., where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Kessler was born Jan. 14, 1899, near Solon, son of Frank W. and Mary A. Maher Kessler. He was a farmer in Johnson and Cedar Counties.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Tipton.
Survivors include one sister, Bridget (Mrs. Everet) Irving of Iowa City, and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, two sisters, and five brothers died earlier.
