Emma C. Kessler

SOLON -- Emma C. Kessler, a lifelong resident of Solon, died May 17 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids after a sudden illness. She was 92.

Services were held Tuesday at the Brosh Funeral Home in Solon with burial in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Kessler was born May 18, 1893, in Solon, a daughter of James and Delia Pauby Carny. She married Leo Kessler, who died in 1970.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Stransky of Cedar Rapids and Marcella Wooff of Solon; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
