Funeral Services for Alex Jacobs, 82, pioneer Tipton resident, who died suddenly during the night Sunday, were held at the Sheets funeral home in Tipton at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with Rev. Max Geissler, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church of Tipton offficiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Jacobs, who was a bachelor, was found dead in his bed Monday at the Peter Ruser home in Tipton, where he roomed. He was born in Morse, October 22, 1864, and had lived in Tipton for many years.

Funeral services were in charge of Manitou Lodge I.O.O.F., of Tipton of which he was a member.
