Charles F. Prizler age 99 of Williamsburg died on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 following a short illness at his home near Williamsburg. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at the Oxford Methodist Church with the Rev. Diane Townsley officiating. Burial will be at the East York Cemetery near Williamsburg in rural Iowa County. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, Oxford Chapel. Charles Francis Prizler was born February 28, 1904 in rural Johnson County the son of Frank M. and Mary Martin Prizler.
He attended Horseshoe Bend School. Charles was life long farmer, working with his brother Harvey Sr. on their farm for more than 55 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting raccoon, his nephews will remember his passion for Allis Chalmers tractors and his love of raising hogs.

His family includes a brother Harvey H. Sr. and wife, Mary Prizler, two nephews, Harvey Jr. and wife, Lori Prizler and Vernon Prizler all of Williamsburg and many great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.

His parents, mother, Mary in 1936 and father, Frank in 1938, a sister Cora Loventinsky, three brothers, Robert, Alvin, and Leonard preceded him in death. The Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service are caring for Charles services and his family.
