Ada “Ann” Elliott, 83, of Knoxville and Liberty Country Living in North Liberty died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at West Ridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids.

Ann was born September 1, 1920 in Jasper County, Iowa, the daughter of Stephen and Iva Dickson Inman. She married Frank Elliott on May 15, 1949 in Knoxville. He died in 2002.

Ann and her husband, Frank lived in Knoxville where she taught science at Nell-McGowen Junior High School. She was a member of the Knoxville First Presbyterian Church, P.E.O., and the Mentor Club. She moved to the Iowa City area in 2002.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Liberty Country Living, West Ridge Care Center, St. Luke’s Home Care and Iowa City Hospice for all they did for Ann.

Ann is survived by her two daughters; Janis Elliott of Carlisle and Maggie Elliott of Iowa City; two grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Stults; one sister, Lydia Fjelds of Ames.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Wally Inman
