Vera V. Kreyd, 67 of Iowa City died on Thursday, March 03, 2005 at her home with her family by her side.

Vera was born August 7, 1937 in St. Petersburg, Russia the daughter of Vasilii and N. Zaderienko. In 1958 she married Vadim P. Kreyd in St. Petersburg, Russia. For ten years she taught at DeFrance Language Institute as a language instructor. She later taught in Mt. Vernon and at the University of Iowa for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Vadim of Iowa City, Iowa and by one son, Gene Kreyd of California. She is also survived by 1 brother and two sisters.
