Kathleen Ann Pugh, 83 of Oaknoll Retirement Residence died at her home Friday, May 20, 2005 following an extended illness.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 24 at 11AM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service with burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Kathleen was born September 6, 1921 in Iowa City, the daughter of John and Catherine McGrath Pugh.

She was a lifelong resident of Iowa City and had attended Iowa City Schools. Kathleen had been employed in the dietary department at Mercy Hospital for many years, retiring in 1986.

Kathleen is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Kathryn “Kitty” Kelly and Joe (Sherry) Pugh, both of Iowa City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Mary Kelly, Julia Simon, Margaret Pugh and Jeanette Faulkner; three brothers John, Joseph and Edward.
