Susan Alice Doehrmann, 70, of Iowa City died Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Windmill Manor in Coralville from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Susan was born June 16, 1935 in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Edward and Marion (Grupe) Dornsife. The family later moved to Ottumwa where she attended Ottumwa schools and graduated from Ottumwa High School. Susan married Marven Doehrmann in Williamsburg on August 14, 1959.

Susan was a member of the Iowa City Jaycees and the Sweet Adelines.

Susan is survived by her husband Marven, daughter Linda Mulholland (Fred) of Cedar Rapids and son Gary (Caroline) of Las Vegas, three grandchildren and two great-grandsons, one foster daughter, Tanya Jackson of Kennendale, TX, and two sisters, Mabel Ream of Ottumwa and Sandra Veatch of Scottsdale, AZ.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold.
