Raymond A. Mace, 92, of 229 W. Benton Street, Iowa City died Thursday March 8, 2007 following a short illness.

Raymond was born on February 6, 1915 in Iowa City, IA to Joseph and Jennie (Wildman) Mace. He married Monica Darling on July 10, 1948 in Delta, IA. Raymond was an Iron Worker for over 50 years. He was an avid bowler in Iowa City for over 50 years.

Raymond is survived by his five daughters; Joan Kempf (Bob), Nancy Sparrow (Jerry), Deanna Wahl (Don), Barbara Willoughby (Raymond), Barbara Rogers, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, wife Monica, two grandchildren; Debbie Willoughby and Curtis Rogers, four brothers; Joseph Mace Jr., Pearl Hinkle, Jayne Schnoebelen, Wilson Mace and a daughter, Patty Mace.
