Carolyn T. (Klein) Moreland, 80, of Iowa City died Saturday July 26, 2008 at Mercy Hospital.

Carolyn was born on May 5, 1928 in Iowa City, IA to Frank and Eugenia (Mougin) Klein. She married John Moreland Sr. on May 18, 1951 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City.

Carolyn was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital and the UIHC for over 26 years. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church, Altar & Rosary and the Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by her husband John Sr., five children; John Jr. (Sandy) and their children Tom, Melissa, Jeff; Julie Hahn (Mike) and their children Heather, Kelly, Amanda, Maren; Sally Vidnovic (Glenn) and their children Sam, Anne; Frank (Sheryl) and their children Sydney, Allison; Molly Molini (Jim) and their children Emily, Ellen, seven siblings; Clayton Klein (Kathy), Cletus Klein (Marcella), Phyllis Latta (Don), Dorothy Seemuth, Jane Doyle, Ted Klein, and Vicki McNeal.

Carolyn was preceded in death by a son Tom Moreland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or Mercy Hospital Foundation.
