Marjorie Jenicek, of Carter Lake, Iowa, formerly of Iowa City, died Monday, February 3, 2003, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha following a brief illness.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Iowa City, with the Reverend Michael Phillips officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service of Iowa City.
Marjorie Jenicek was born in Iowa City, the daughter of Ralph and Ella Rosenberg. She was united in marriage to Albert Jenicek on June 3, 1950, in Omaha. The couple made their home in Carter Lake, Iowa, where she continued to live following her husband’s death in 1998.
She is survived by her cousins, some locally.
