Bob E. Massey, 67, formerly of Coralville, died Wednesday November 12, 2008 at his home in Springdale, IA from Complications of Alzheimer’s.

Bob was born on June 28, 1941 in Greenville, Kentucky to Berness and Velma (Duke) Massey. He married Lois Davis on July 26, 1971 in Austin, Indiana. Bob worked for Dome Pipeline of Iowa City in Management before retiring in 2000.

He was a life member of the Noon Optimist Club of Coralville with over 17 years of service as treasurer, vice president, president and lieutenant governor. He was a member of the Masonic Clarksville Lodge and Commissioner of Babe Ruth Baseball in Iowa City.

Bob is survived by his wife Lois of Springdale, two children; Robert and wife Traci of Coralville, David and wife Cheryl of Key Largo, FL, a brother Charles and wife Lawanda of Midland, TX and three grandchildren; Jackson, Ruby and Lyda Mae.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Eugene.
