Michael J. Hodges, 51, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 following a sudden illness. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Mike Hodges Memorial Fund.

Michael was born on August 26, 1957 in Muskogee, OK, the son of Johnny and Mildred (Rhinehart) Hodges. He was a 1975 graduate of Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, AR and later went on to graduate from The University of Arkansas. On July 29, 1989, Michael married Tracy Wilson in Las Vegas, NV. For the last several years, Michael was a self-employed Real Estate Appraiser.

Michael is survived by his wife Tracy and their two children Jesse and Stephanie, all of Iowa City, his father Johnny Hodges of Mountain Home, AR, two sisters Leighann Hodges of Sacramento, CA and Mary Imes of Houston, TX, an aunt and uncle Richard and Barbara Hodges of Muskogee, OK and his grandmother Eva Lee Schneider of Muskogee, OK.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother Mildred Hodges.
