Ginny was born on May 5, 1957 in Iowa City, the daughter of James and Mary (Beeler) York. She graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1975 and later went on to graduate from Kirkwood Community College. Ginny had a long and successful career as a Graphic Design Artist, working both for ACT and Buckle Down Publishing.

Ginny was a remarkable person who had an unbelievable sense of humor. Not a moment passed where she wasn’t either smiling or laughing. She will be remembered for her love of her nieces and nephews and for her pets. Ginny simply loved life and had a tremendous impact on all of those around her.
