Services:Funeral Services will be held at 5 pm on Friday, January 23, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center in Iowa City (570 Dublin Drive). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
Visitation:Visitation will be held at the church from 1 pm until service time.
Carol M. Strank, 62, died peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a long illness. Funeral Services will be held at 5 pm on Friday, January 23, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Stake Center in Iowa City (570 Dublin Drive). Visitation will be held at the church from 1 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the church.

Carol was born on December 7, 1946 in Sommerville, NJ, the daughter of Vincent P. Hannon and Helen Maurine Blake. On April 25, 1969, Carol married Gary Strank in Eaton Rapids, MI.

Carol is survived by her husband Gary and their four children; Rebecca (Mauricio) Delabra of Tipton, IA, Shannon Strank of Austin, TX, Daniel (Danielle) Strank of North Liberty, IA and their sons Jaxon and Samson, and Alicia Strank of Iowa City. Carol is also survived by her mother Helen of Eaton Rapids, MI, her father Vincent of Leesburg, FL, a sister Susan (Jim) Sayed and a brother James (Julie) Hannon, both of Eaton Rapids, MI.
