Nevada Orris

North Liberty – Mrs. Nevada M. Orris, 95, a former resident of North Liberty died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Homer (Leota) Lucke, of Sun City, Calif.

Friends may call at the North Liberty chapel after noon Sunday.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Beckman-Butherus Funeral Chapel in North Liberty, with burial in the North Liberty Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 25, 1880, at Solon, to Frederick and Finetta Schley.

In addition to Mrs. Lucke, survivors include another daughter, Mildred Burtlow, of Golden, Colo.; a son, Opal Orris, of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Arthur Orris, preceded her in death.
