Dorothy J. Goody, 72, of 720 E. Bloomington St., died Sat, 13 Apr 1996, azt her home after a long illness.
Graveside services will begin at 11 am Wed at Memory Gardens Cem with the Rev Dick Watkins officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice. Donohue-Lensing funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Goody was born 10 Jun1923, in Iowa City, to Thomas and Antoinette (Fiala) LaVora. She married Robert H. Goody 25 Aug 1949 in davenport. He died in 1992.
Survivors include one son, Tom McNabb of Iowa City; one sister, Blanche Goody of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, three sisters and two brothers died earlier.
