Iowa City Press Citizen - Lone Tree - Richard Goody, 38, Route 4, Iowa City, died Mon at his home.
Services will be Thurs at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Hills, with the Rev David Hitch officiating. Visitation is this afternoon and evening at Sorden's Funeral Home, Riverside. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.
Mr. Goody was born June 16, 1973 at Iowa City, a son of Paul and Wilma Shillig Goody. On Jan 6, 1973, he married Marilyn Garvin at Iowa City. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He had farmed his entire adult life.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Mark, and one daughter, Rachel, both at home; his mother, Wilma, Lone Tree; one brother, James Goody, Lone Tree; three sisters, Mrs. Russell (Doris) Hotz, Lone Tree; Mrs. Robert (Killine) Greazel, Atalissa, and Mrs. John (Joan) Greazel, Iowa City.
