Wilma M. Goody, 90, of Lone Tree, died Sun, 14 May 2006 at the Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree, following an extended illness. Funeral services were Wed, 17 May 1t St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lone Tree, with the Rev Vitalis Torwel officiating. Burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Casketbearers were Allan Goody, Matt Greazel, Brian Greazel, Jeff Greazel, Tim Greazel, Rodney Hotz and Mark Goody. Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Lone Tree Fire and Rescue.
Wilma M. Schillig was born Dec 24, 1915 in Richmond, the daughter of William and Veronica (Wingler) Schillig.
On 8 Feb 1939, she was united in marriage to Paul A. Goody in Richmond. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lone Tree.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Dorothy) Goody, and three daughters: Deline (Robert) Greazel of Atalissa, Joan (John) Greazel of Iowa City, and Doris (Russell) Hotz of Lone Tree; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Schillig of Kalona and one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Goody.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul on 1 Sep 1982; one son, Richard; and one sister, Florence Kron.
