The funeral of Mrs. Horace Robertson was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Brick Chapel in Scott township and interment was made in the Brick Chapel cemetery.

Mrs. Robertson passed away Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Westcott in Scott township. She had been ill for several months with ailments incidental to her advanced age of seventy-three years.

Mrs. Robertson, then Mary Jemima Allin, came to this county in the spring of 1852 from Ohio. She was married on Thanksgiving day, 1864, to Horace Robertson, and to them seven children were born, four of whom survive, and are Mrs. Ida Rose, Henry D. Robertson, Mrs. Lizzie Westcott, and Mrs. Julia Chamberlin of North Dakota. Mrs. Robertson possessed a beautiful Christian character and her interests and activities has long been mutual with the church in her community. Many friends are grieved at her taking away and extend their sympathy to the bereaved children.
