The Lone Tree Reporter, Lone Tree, IA newspaper dated 29 March 1934:

MRS. G. V. BAKER CALLED MONDAY

Passes After Extended Illness, Funeral Services Held Here Wednesday Afternoon

Mrs. G. V. Baker passed away at her home in Lone Tree Monday morning following an illness of several weeks duration. She had been in failing health for a number of years, but had been in serious condition only the last few weeks.

Addie Sarah Baker, daughter of Fred and Emoline Carl, was born in Cedar county near Tipton, Iowa, September 8, 1867, and died at her home in Lone Tree March 26, 1934, aged 66 years, 6 months and 14 days.

February 19, 1890 she was united in marriage to George V. Baker and to them three daughters were born, Hazel B. Slaughter of Ellenberg, Wash., Viola Marguerite of Chicago, Ill., and Erma Alma, who died in infancy.
