THIRD TO DIE WITHIN YEAR

Mrs. Joseph Lenoch Passes Away Early This Morning at Age 76

Iowa City friends mourn the death of another good woman - Mrs. Joseph Lenoch. This worthy old settler passed away this morning at 2:20 o'clock at her home, 128 Kimball Avenue.

The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9, at St. Wenceslaus Church.

Death has thrice invaded this same home during the last year -- a daughter; Mrs. Frank Cilek, passing away June 30, 1923, and an aged father in October of last year.

Those who are bereaved three times in succession are the three sons and four daughters, Joseph, James and Frank Lenoch; and Mesdames Ella Taylor, Iowa City; Barbara Blazek, Creston, Iowa; Sister M. Magdalene, Sacred Heart Convent, Lisle, Ill; and Mrs. Mary Kupka, Bohemia.

Mrs. Lenoch came here with her family from Bohemia 32 years ago last May and lived in Iowa City ever since. She was in her 76th year. A faithful Catholic all her life, she was loyally devoted to St. Wenceslaus Church throughout her years of connection with that church. An earnest worker in the church, a true friend, and a good wife and mother, she will be missed by all who knew her.
