EARL F. BAHMLER
SOLON - Earl F. Bahmler, 86, of Solon, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Brosh Funeral Home in Solon with the Rev. Dennis Tevis officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Solon. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The American Legion post will conduct graveside services.

Mr. Bahmler was born Oct. 1, 1895, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Bahmler. He married Mona Peters in February 1942. She died April 1, 1981. A well-known cattle feeder he was a retired farmer. A veteran of World War I, he served with the U.S. Army and was a member of Stinocher Post American Legion in Solon.

Survivors include two brothers, Floyd of Iowa City and Lancelot of North Liberty.
