DORAN KESSLERDoran A. Kessler, 61, a native of Johnson County, died this morning at Chattanooga, Tenn. He had gone there about 1940.
Funeral services are pending at Chattanooga.
Born south of Solon June 17, 1906, he was a son of Lewis L. and Dora Schley Kessler. He was associated with the Fist National Bank in Iowa City during the 1930s. At Chattanooga, he has been employed by a steel company and the Federal Land Bank.
He married Ethel Blaylock in Chattanooga in 1940.
Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Ginita Dalton of Iowa City, Mrs. Ray (Shirley) Barrows of Lookout Mountain, Tenn. and 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, F. Dal Kessler and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Nettie) Strub and Mrs. J. F. (Neva) Buchmayer, all of Iowa City. Two brothers died earlier.
