Robert D. Duffy, age 61 of Iowa City died Wednesday, November 7, 2001 of natural causes.

Family graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at the Parsol Cemetery near North English, Iowa. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Monday evening at the Gay & Ciha Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Mr. Duffy was born August 29, 1940 in Iowa City, the son of Leroy and Alberta (Blair) Duffy. He grew up in the Iowa City area and worked here and most recently in Arkansas.

His family includes a two daughters, Lisa Duffy of Belle Plaine, and Karen Duffy of Council Bluffs; two granddaughters, Marina Evans and India Hawkins; a brother, Larry Duffy of Ottumwa, and a sister, Judy Schwitzer of Coralville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Francis Duffy, and a grandson, Brandon Duffy.
