Carol L. Frazer, age 99 formerly of Iowa City died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at a care center in Peoria, AZ following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 9:30a.m. Tuesday until services at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Quakerdale at New Providence, Iowa.

Mrs. Frazer was born December 18, 1902 in Marshalltown, Iowa the daughter of Jesse and Maude (Trueblood) Ferguson. She graduated from Marshalltown High School, and from William Penn College in Oskaloosa. For a number of years she taught schools in Iowa. On June 12, 1928 she married Lloyd Frazer in Marshalltown. After their marriage she was home to take care of her family. She has lived in the following cities, Ames, Mt. Pleasant, Urbandale and Iowa City, all in Iowa, Stuart, Florida, Sun City and Peoria, Arizona.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Izaak Walton League, Bungalow Club, Shuffleboard Club, and a number of quilting groups.

Her family includes three sons and their wives, Rex and Janice Frazer of Leavenworth, KS, Roy and Phyllis Frazer of Sun City, AZ, and Ray and Ruth Frazer of Loveland, CO; 8 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd on April 3, 1972, a sister and a brother.
