Pauline Sheridan Spivey age 84 of 320 Railroad St. Tiffin died following a brief illness on Saturday at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church in Tiffin. Family will greet friends from one until service time at the church. Memorials may be given to the Grace United Methodist Church.
Pauline was born on November 30, 1917 in Des Moines County near Mediapolis, Iowa the daughter of Ted and Gertrude Sheridan Miller. She graduated from Tiffin Schools and married Kenneth W. Spivey on August 15, 1938 in Iowa City. Along with being a mother and wife she worked as a member of the kitchen staff at the Lark Restaurant in Tiffin. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the Cancer support group in Iowa City.
Her family includes a daughter Carole and husband Gene Yenter of Preston, MN.; three sons; Theodore and wife Cherrill of Castro Valley, CA.; Ronald and Timothy and wife Cindy of Tiffin; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchild; three sisters; Erma Martin of Cedar Rapids, Lova and husband Raymond Fritsh of Galesburg, IL., Elaine Robus of Heber Springs, AK., along with one brother Donald Miller of Freemont, CA.
Her parents, husband Ken, two brothers in laws Ray Robus and Leon Martin preceded her in death.
