Robert C. Bott, formerly of Ecumenical Towers, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Mercy Hospital.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1pm, Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Newman Catholic Student Center with Rev. Ed Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after noon, Saturday. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.

Mr. Bott was born in Iowa City and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He had been associated with Stillwell’s Paint Store and later, Younkers, both in downtown Iowa City, until his retirement. Following retirement, he attended the University of Iowa, and was an honorary member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Bob served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Newman Center, St. Mary’s Church, St. Thomas More Church and St. Patrick’s Church.

Bob is survived by many friends, especially Chris Frese of Iowa City and the caregivers at Lantern Park Care Center.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother Rosalind Rittenmeyer Bott.
