Cascade Pioneer, published in Cascade, Iowa on Friday, June 14th, 1895

Charles Sherman, of Oxford, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for seduction. The judge was willing to suspend sentence providing Sherman married his victim, and the knot was tied immediately.
