Festival of Praise Bands

A Festival of Praise Bands is coming to Sharon Center on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 7, from 12:15 to 5:15 p.m. Plenty of good music and food (concessions) is available, with concessions opening at 11:30 a.m.
Hosting this event will be Sharon Center United Methodist Church and its own Sharon Praise Team.
The church is located approximately 6 miles west of Hills; or 3 miles east of Twin County Dairy Cheese House on Highway 1, and 1 mile north on the corner of 520th Street and James Avenue. All activities will be outdoors if weather permits; it not, everything will move indoors.
Featured musicians will be the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Worship Team, Kalona Christian Fellowship Praise Team, and the Sharon Praise Team. Coming from farther away will be the High Point Community Church Worship Team and St. Mark's University Methodist Praise Team of Iowa City.
No admission fee will be charged, though a free will offering will be taken to help cover expenses.
Bring a chair, bring a friend, and enjoy an afternoon of inspiration, of good music, light-hearted humor, great food and good fellowship.
