Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Foster Sr. of West Branch will observe their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday at the Highlander Inn.

Foster and Mary Thomasen were married June 10, 1920.

They have five children: L.P. Foster Jr. and Derrold (Pat) Foster of Iowa City, Doris (Judy) Hagen of San Antonio, Texas; Mary J. Turnbull of Des Moines and Audrey Rex of West Branch. There are 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
