In the District Court of Iowa in and for Johnson CountyLawrence V. Littig. Plaintiff
vs.
J. S. Littig, E. H. Littig, Alice Littig Siems, Amy Littig Rivers and First National Bank of Iowa City, Iowa, Administrator of the Estate of Amy D. Littig, Deceased. Defendants
To the Above Named Defendants:
You are hereby notified that a petition of the above named plaintiff in the above entitled action is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the above named Court which petition prays for partition of the following described real estate:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Out Lot 18 in Iowa City, Iowa, thence West 80 feet, thence North 155 feet, thence East 80 feet, thence South 155 feet to the place of beginning and certain personal property located in the building upon said premises for an accounting of the rents and profits from said property, for establishing the rights of the parties to this action in said premises and the personal property, for the appointment of a referee to partition said property by sale or otherwise as provided by law that said refereee shall take charge of said premises and manage and operate the same during the pendency of this action, for costs and attorneys fees as provided by statute and the Rules of Civil Procedure to be made a lien upon the respective shares of the parties.
Said petition alleges that J. S. Littig, E. H. Littig, Alice Littig Siems, Amy Littig Rivers and Lawrence V. Littig are the heirs at law of Lawrence W. Littig, who died intestate on July 17, 1918 and of Amy D. Littig, now deceased, who died intestate on July 30, 1946, that the property above described descended by the laws of inheritance to the parties above named as heirs of the said Lawrence W. Littig and Amy D. Littig subject to the claims of creditors as set out in said petition.
Said petition alleges that the owners of said property are unable to agree mutually on the division thereof and that it will be necessary for the same to be sold to make division of the interests therein.

You are hereby notified to appear before said Court at Iowa City in Johnson County, Iowa, on or before the 23rd day of April, 1948, and that unless you so appear your default will be entered and judgement or decree will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.
