Johnson County court

Last Will and Testament of Valentine Fackler made this 19th day of April A.D. 1862

I do hereby will and bequeath (after all just claimes are paid) to my wife Elizabeth all the personal property belonging to me, and also she shall have her mentainans on or out of the farm as long as she lives and that my son Michael shall have Two Hundread Dollars out of my Estate in the first place, then my two sons Martin and Jacob shall have one (1/4) fourth of the Remainder, then my son’s Michael, Samuel, and John and my Daughter Sarah to have an Equal share of all the rest of my Estate – it is also my wish and desire that my two sons Samuel and Michael shall administer on my Estate

Given under my hand this 29th day of April 1862 Valentine (his X mark) Fackler
Attst, John C Miller and Jacob Watters.

Johnson County, Aug Term
I George W McCleary, County Judge and Ex. Off clerk of the county court in and for said county do hereby certify that the foregoing document to which this certificate is annexed was this day proved in and allowed by said court as the last will and testament of Valentine Fackler deceased.

In witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said county this 5th day of August A.D. 1862, Geo. W. McCleary, County Judge & Ex. Off. Clk Co Court
