Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Roberts to Note Golden Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Roberts, Route 3, Iowa City, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for their friends and relatives at the Sharon Masonic Temple Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Roberts were married December 24, 1908, at the home of Mrs. Roberts' parents in West Lucas township. They have lived all of their married life on a farm in Sharon township.
The couple has three sons, Mr. Donald Roberts, Cedar Rapids; Mr. Wayne Roberts, Route 3, Iowa City; and Prof. John Aubrey Roberts, Pittsburg, Kan. They also had three daughters, who are deceased, Hilda, Joyce and Gleanna. There are four grandchildren.
