There are no birth records here for Vern/Verne
in l897. Only families are of Millard Simpsons and Oliver Simpson's children. The birth probably was not attended by a physician.

As to the marriage record, the Recorders Office
makes certified copies for $10.00. In that time period you need to request a copy of the license and ALSO a copy of the marriage registry pages in order to get the parents of the bride and groom, residence, place of birth, occupation, names of wedding attendants. You must tell your relationship to the couple in the request, and send besides the $l0.00 a long self addr.stamped envelope.
