From the picture booklet "Rural School of Jefferson County, Iowa " published in l98l the caption under the school reads: PARSONVILLE SCHOOL Buchanan Township, district No.6 Section 25 School moved about one mile northwest to the Willard Roach farm from its original location about one and one-half miles east of Beckwith near the Parsonville corner.

Many records of rural schools were turned over to the Area Education Agency, but I have no way of knowing if theirs were. Verda Baird..... retired (I know I have corresp with you back when I was the corresp secy for Jefferson County)
