Was he in the civil War buried in the southern
states or serve time in Andersonville Prison?

Did he have guardianship records in Washington County? Did he have a will, or probate records?
Was there money paid out to get a gravestone
erected in Washington County-- Member in a church?
In 1975 our county was microfilmed by the LDS for the Salt Lake City underground vaults. Churches
were to bring in their old records. I headed up all that thankless job and Catholics refused....
great cooperation from the Presbyterians. Their
big books had been sent to archives in PA and by
golly PA sent them back to IA to be microfilmed
and the big church in Fairfield even got data for
me for a tiny, little Presy. Church way out in the country.

Enough for today. I answered letters for about 35 yrs here in our county so I poured out questions.
