Dear Louise:

Just had a brain storm. There have to be residents of Jefferson County yet who would have been students when that Burr Oak School closed.

I suggest you write a letter to the Editor at the Fairfield Ledger - were you one of the last students at that school - do any of those old classmates get together - and ask some questions as to when it got destroyed by tornado (year, month, date - - who has the old records in their attic - does anyone have any old newspaper clippings they would photocopy?
- plus any other thing that comes to mind.
